Wow! You published my letter! I am impressed.

We aim to please.

He, at least you are being read and not ignored. Jews come in handy, don't you think? However, I dont get your answer. How do I start this reform business? And who is this collective I am supposed to align myself with? I don't know any other Jews besides my immediate family. I do not belong to a synagogue. I don't work in the media and do not own Hollywood, however I do have a huge mortgage. I do not plot to take over the world ( I wish !) and I am just a worker like 99% of Jewish people Do I become an Israel Shamir? Noam Chomsky? Finkelstein? Really, do tell me how to proceed. Please advise. How do we find grace in your eyes? Is it possible? What would you do with yourself if we succeed in reforming ourselves? Can we have a world without the Jews to kick around?

Read the web site. All you need to know about what's so disturbing about the Jewish community you'll find. You don't want to face it all. So let's see. You don't know any other Jews on the planet (really?), the "synagogue" defines a "Jew" for you, your Jewish identity is therefore close to nothing (?), yet here you are at this web site furiously defending "the Jews." I guess your allegiance to the tribal Klan is a little deeper than you thought? Are you willing to admit it?

You don't have to become Israel Shamir. Just become yourself, apart from your intensely chauvinistic attitude. That would "grace" yourself, not me.

As for my lack of comments regarding the contents of this website, I can only say the following: I read everything with amused detachment.

Amusing? Jewish dominance of the porno world is funny? Another Jewish "Russian Mafia" guy getting busted is good for a laugh? And you're "detached?" Hmmm. So detached you're at my steps in a ball of fire.

I am just fascinated by your efforts to try to fit everything into your worldview. I can say the same thing you say about other ethnic groups too. Here is an exemple. Why don't you bitch about the monopoly of Koreans in the nail salons?

Madam, who cares about nail salons? Except people like you, who apparently spend a good time getting manicures and a poodle haircut?

How about the monopoly of Iranians in the carpet business?

Oh, m'Lady, you blunder! Badly. Surprise! Jewish world economic influence is so widely pervasive that Persian Jews DO dominate the "Iranian" carpet market. I'm sorry to be the harbinger of bad news:

Persian Jews in the Oriental Rug Business,
by Bob Gibson, ICOC Paper delivered in Tehran, Iran, 1992,
From Oriental Rug Review, Vol. 13/2, Rug Review,
"I originally became interested in the history of the Iranian Jews in the carpet business when I first got involved in the business myself 14 years ago. It intrigued me that so many of the Iranian carpet dealers with whom I came into contact were Jews when they represent such a small minority of the Iranian population. At no time have they exceeded more than one half of one percent. My first contact with them was on Ferdowsi Street in Tehran where, with a few exceptions, the merchants were Jewish. Then in the early 1980's upon returning to the United States, I discovered to my surprise that most of the dealers in Los Angeles and New York were recently arrived Iranian Jews. Upon investigating this phenomenon further, I learned that in the history of the Iranian carpet business the Iranian Jews have truly played an important role."

Follow the link and read the whole article. Madam, I assure it gives me great pleasure to educate you. You toss out a RANDOM field, asking "Where's the Jew?", and, lo! The Jew is EVERYWHERE.

How about the stranglehold of the Greeks in the restaurant business?

"Greeks" have a stranglehold on the restaurant business? You mean Greeks like the Jewish CEO of McDonalds, Jack Greenberg, taking over in 1998? Alan Feldman who Greenberg appointed to be President of the McDonalds USA Division? George Cohan who was until the early 90's Chairman and President of McDonalds Restaurants of Canada, LTD? Or the Chairman the McDonalds foundation (Ronald McDonald House), Jerome Turk? You mean the Jewish owner, Michael Illitch, of the Little Caesar's Pizza chain? Or the Jewish CEO (Ray Schoenbaum) of the Shoney's chain of 1,200 restaurants in 28 states (his father founded the company). (This restaurant chain includes Shoney's, Captain D's Seafood, Pargo's, and Fifth Quarter). Or do you mean Sidney Feltenstein who is Chairman, President, and CEO of A & W Restaurants (famed in the 1950s for its root beer), with over 800 sites? Etc.

How about all these Chinese people in dry cleaning?

Many Jews actually started out in the cleaning business, back when they focused on dominating the clothing business in the earlier years of the 20th century. Example, from Israeli scholar Robert Rockaway: "By the 1920s, Jews owned most of Detroit's dry-cleaning establishments." [ROCKAWAY, R., 1993, p. 77]

How about Jamaican nannies?

Gosh, you got me here. This you probably know a lot about! How many Jamiacan maids you got? True. You are 100% right on this one. There aren't too many Jewish nannies and maids. Maybe none.

How about all these white trash in trailer parks, who is really behind their obesity?

"White trash?" Uh-oh. Something is starting to leak out of your radiator, mam. It's mean and ugly. And, alas, it may be Jewish. Maybe the "white trash in trailer parks" eat too much Ben and Jerry's ice cream? (Jewish-founded) Or too much junk food from the Jewish-founded and owned "Dunkin' Donuts?"

Of course all that fat "white trash" can go to Weight Watchers for redemption, which was founded by Jean Nidetech, who is also Jewish.

Say, while we're in the realm of Jewish ethnic slurs, have you called any of your Jamaican maids "schvartze" lately? Up front, or behind their backs?

It would be ridiculous, don't you think? That is in a nutshell how I feel about the contents of your site.

Well, obviously you haven't read any of it. You'd be in a better position to criticize this web site if you knew something about what you were talking about. This web site can educate anyone, including YOU. Give up the myth, lady. Be honest with youself. Why don't you become a Hindu or something?

You also complain that we do not talk about facts? What facts? You mean your galloping imagination?

With all the humility I can muster after so totally vanquishing your earlier commentary, please reference our exchange above.

I visit because I am curious to know about your latest pseudo intellectual contortions and improvisations. I admire the mental pyrotechnics.

Gee, thanks. A compliment. Sort of. I think you should read some of the other exchanges I've had with people of Jewish heritage, the better ones, at the top of the page. Maybe you could think. And grow.

I also like to keep tabs on the ennemi.

You mean enema?

Hahaha! By the way, I love your new "writer", palestineman. He sounds just like you!

Sorry, we're different people. There are at least two (yes, impossible, I know) people in the world who think like me about the Palestinian struggle against Zionist oppression.

Are you getting bored & cloning yourself? Since you are very keen on facts. I would like to point out the following about palestimeman latest column. Sarit Haddad is from the Soviet Union. "Oriental" music is prevalent in Greece, Turkey, and other countries in the Balkans. Hummous is also eaten in Greece. Did they steal his culture too? Hebrew and Arabic are semitic languages & have a common structure based on a 3 letter linguistic root. Many words are the same. Just like French & Spanish for instance. Are the French complaining about cultural theft? Names describe jobs & trades and since the languages are similar, they often sound the same. Also, anybody with 2 cents worth of historical knowledge knows that the food is middle eastern , ottoman/persian & not just Arab and that the Arabs invaded the Midlle East in the 7th century.

"Palestine Man" wrote the piece, not me. I think the root of his point is that the Zionist Jews from Europe came to Palestine, stole Arab culture, and grafted parts of it onto modern Israeli society. That's accurate.

I can tell you that they did not bring hummous with them. Guess what, they don't eat Hummous and Felafel in North Africa. Those countries have a totally different cuisine. Israeli food is food local to the region, nobody pretends that it is Jewish. There is no such thing as Jewish food.

Yes, I know. Lox and bagels are considered to be Afghani.

There is only kosher food. It is Israeli the same way as hambeurgers , spaghetti & pizza are American foods. As far as I know Germans & Italians are not scraming cultural theft. Cultures borrow from each other. He, go ahead and "educate" as much as you like but don't invent stuff. There are enough atrocities committed by Jews everyday, you know, like this one, felafel man. Apartheid/genocide/checkpoints/beatings/shootings/demolitions/rapes/ cruelty/brutality , and don't forget the schmoccupation! To be continued!

"Felafel man?" Is that something like "white trash" or "sand nigger?"

The really interesting thing is that you frame yourself as a Jew who doesn't even know another Jew (but your family), but you apparently LIVE for the myths of Judeocentrism. This Jewish self-delusion is pretty common.

Snap out of it.

"Palestine Man" also responds to Ms. Marks:

Dear Ms. Ruth Marks...
you made a reference to me in your feedback to the JTR website (yes, I am Palestine Man whom you have dubbed Falafel Man)...you mention that Israeli female vocalist Sarit Haddad is from the Soviet Union. Then either you or Ms. Haddad (if she is an Ashkenazi fraud who has stolen an Arab last name) must explain the surname Haddad, which is Arabic for "blacksmith", and is one of the most common Arab last names that exist. And if she is in fact a Soviet Jew, it still does NOT change the fact that her Mizrahi (also spelled Mizrachi or Mizrakhi) style is unmistakebly Arab.

The late Ofra Haza, mind you Ms. Marks, was a Yemenite Jew, who among her hit albums, had many Mizrakhi songs on the chart. And what about Eyal Golan and countless other "Sephardim" who have adopted this style? Now, I never claimed that hummous and falafel were North African food, they are Arab, but not North African. They are classified as Levantine Arab food as opposed to North African Arab food (such as couscous and tajine malsouka which have also surprisingly surfaced on "Israeli" menus).
Sorry, madame, but I have roots in the region and do NOT need you to educate me about what is North African and what is Middle Eastern.

Back to your argument about Israeli entertainers which again circumvents the REAL issues which are political, and have NOTHING to do with which Israeli singers ululate like Arab ones, and which ones don't, you do ADMIT that Israeli music has borrowed various genres from various countries (albeit you again deny the fact that the lion's share of it comes from the very Arabs you claim should not be given any credit for anything), and you ADMIT that "Israeli" cuisine is an eclectic mix of recipes from various different countries (but again I do need to remind you that many of the foods that are Israeli "staples" are NOT Greek or Turkish or whatever, but Arab).

Even if one were to buy your argument that Israeli culture is a potpourri of other cultures that are not Arab, you are still admitting that Israeli "culture" is a borrowed culture, or to sum it up in a capsule, a fraud.

By the way, just to let you know, the one person who made "Oriental", or Mizrahi music very popular among YOUNG Israelis was none other than "Sharif"...a Druze, a non-Jew, and sorry to disappoint you again, an ARAB. So Ms. Marks, put that in your "argeela" or "nargeela" (as your Israeli friends pronounce it...and for those who don't know this is a reference to the famous hookah pipe Israelis love so much and which is ARAB, and which you Ms. Marks, will claim is Norwegian) and SMOKE IT!

*************

Rereading Ms. Ruth Marks' "letter", I came across yet another funny comment. "The Arabs invaded the Middle East in the 7th century A.D." (Ruth Marks)...Yeah, right, we Arabs are originally natives of the Far East (China's Hunan province in fact!), and we invaded the MIDDLE EAST in the 7th century A.D.!!!! Ms. Marks should go back to reading the Bible. Ishmael, the father of the Arabs, lived long before the 7th century A.D., and last time I checked he lived in the Middle East, not Antarctica.
