The entire European Commission was accused of anti-Semitism in 2004, as well as the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mary Robinson. At least a fifth of today's Europeans are deemed to be anti-Semitic. Even saying "Jewish Lobby" is decreed to be anti-semitic. Faculty members at Birmingham University in England were accused in 2004. American colleges, generally, have been accused (2005) of being "islands of anti-Semitism.".

A long article at a Jewish website even indicts the entirety of the "New Age" movement as anti-Jewish and therefore anti-Semitic, including:

the "Arcane School, Seven Rays Institute, Anthroposophy, Waaldorf School, Theosophical Society, Transcendental Meditation, A Course in Miracles (interfaith group), New Thought Courses, Silva Mind Control, New Acropolis, Scientology, to name a few." Caught in this net for spreading anti-Jewish thoughts is also Margaret Mead, "pop singers John Denver and Judy Collins," Montessori schools, Greenpeace, the Sierra Club, Bread for the World, UNESCO, World Council of Churches, Maharishi Yogi, George Gurjhoff, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, Buckminister Fuller, among many others.

A few years ago, the Jewish Anti-Defamation League was found to be keeping files on many political groups, including the following: Greenpeace, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, Mills College of Oakland (California), and the United Farm Workers, among others.

Jews ("self-hatred" version of antisemitism): Theodore Herzl ("father" of Zionism), Jerome Weidman, Wittgenstein, Kurt Tucholsky, Philip Roth, Budd Schulberg, NY Times reporter Tom Friedman, former chancellor of Austria Bruno Kreisky, and famed filmmaker Stanley Kubrick who is alleged to have said "Hitler was right about almost everything." Frank Collin (father: Cohen) planned a famous Nazi march in Skokie, Illinois, and Daniel Burros, King Kleagle of the New York Ku Klux Klan commited suicide after a newspaper exposed the fact that he was Jewish. The perjorative word "kike" was even created by uptown New York Jews to describe the masses of Eastern European Jews coming to America in the late 1800s.

One web site's list of self-hating Jews (Jewish "anti-Semites") includes: "Gloria Steinem, Studs Turkel, Alan Trachtenberg, Woody Allen, Susan Sontag, Stew Albert, Susan Udin, Harvey Weinstein, Ed Asner, George Soros, Art Spiegelman, Uri Avneri, Richard Dreyfuss, Tony Judt, Neve Gordon, Jimmy Breslin (I guess they made him an honorary Jew), Andrew Cockburn, Barry Commoner, Sandy Berger, Phyllis Bennis ..."

Conversely, if you say too many nice things about Jews, you're still in trouble, because it's a problem for Richard L. Rubenstein: "Philo-Semitism is as unrealistic and pernicious as anti-Semitism, for it destroys our most precious attribute, our simple humanity." [RUBINSTEIN, R., p. 21]

But Jean Paul Sartre, the famous French existentialist, gets the Jewish Tribal Review award for the most ludicrous of "anti-Semitism" accusations: Sartre had went out of his way to write an entire volume attacking anti-Semitism, yet that very volume has been attacked by more than one Jew as itself an expression of anti-Semitism.

"War for the bourgeoisie was already revolting enough, but war for the Jews now! I can't find any adjectives that are really sufficiently phlegm-covered, sufficiently myriakilogrammatically full of shit, of green decay of corpses to describe to you what this means." -L.F. Celine in *Bagattelles pour un massacre*, p58 (tr. Merlin Thomas)

"In fact, cock-a-doodle-doo Frenchmen, you'll go off to war at the moment chosen by M. le baron de Rothschild, your lord and absolute master...at the hour fixed, in full accord with his sovereign cousins in London, New York and Moscow. It's M. de Rothschild, he, who will sign your decree of General Mobilization, via the intermediary, via the quivering pen of his puppet-lackey-minister." -ibid., p177

[Mahatma] Gandhi on Palestine,
SEGAON, November 20, 1938 Harijan, 26-11-1938 (Vol. 74, pp. 239-242)
"Palestine belongs to the Arabs in the same sense that England belongs to the English or France to the French. It is wrong and in-human to impose the Jews on the Arabs. What is going on in Palestine today cannot be justified by any moral code of conduct. The mandates have no sanction but that of the last war. Surely it would be a crime against humanity to reduce the proud Arabs so that Palestine can be restored to the Jews partly or wholly as their national home."

John Updike, Anti-Semite? Don't be ridiculous,
By Timothy Noah, Slate, Nov. 26, 2003
"The Nov. 26 New York Observer carries a bracingly stupid editorial accusing John Updike of anti-Semitism because, in a recent New Yorker review of Peter Carey's latest novel, My Life as a Fake, Updike makes reference to a "rich Jew." By running the review, the Observer fulminates, The New Yorker may be "implicitly endorsing anti-Semitism." No, it isn't. The phrase that offended the Observer appeared in the middle of Updike's summary of the book's plot. ... ... But Amazon's "search inside" feature informs us that the phrase "rich Jew" gets used all the time to no particular anti-Semitic effect. Rabbi Arthur Hertzberg used it in The Jews in America. Sholem Aleichem used it in Tevye the Dairyman. Philip Roth used it in American Pastoral. Robert Caro used it in The Power Broker. In none of these instances did the author imply anything derogatory or imply that some other person who used the phrase was expressing anti-Semitism. Chatterbox doesn't deny that the phrase "rich Jew" can sometimes be used in a way that reinforces a harmful ethnic stereotype. Quite often, though, it's used simply to indicate that somebody is, well, rich and Jewish. Kaplan told Chatterbox that a New Yorker editor should have kicked the story back to Updike and asked him to find another phrase. But he admitted no substitute came immediately to mind. What was Updike supposed to do, scribble in "rich person who happens to be Jewish"? ... In Updike's case, though, the offense seems entirely imaginary. The Observer is fighting the last war."
